Following up from my post last week (to recap: I attended a meeting and went to a great presentation on figure design, editing and drafting), I just had to tell you about the stock image website that was suggested.

I got a month subscription to www.shutterstock.com to try it out.

IT IS AWESOME!

Between then and now, I’ve put together a figure for a manuscript and it is maybe the most professional-looking schematic I’ve ever put together.

If you have the means, I highly recommend trying out one of these stock image websites. And, once you pay the monthly fee, you can use the images in any document you choose! ??
